                                                    Ken Alexander currently serves as the FAA’s Chief Scientist for satellite navigation systems.
Ken addresses requirements, performance, spectrum, policy and safety issues for aircraft, avionics and FAA infrastructure systems including planning and implementation of positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) system resiliency.
Ken is a member of the ICAO Council’s Cybersecurity Advisory Committee, chairs the ICAO Navigation Systems Panel and co-chairs the National PNT Systems Engineering Forum with U.S. Space Force.
Ken has 45 years engineering experience aircraft, avionics and missile systems engineering, operations and procurement. Ken is a retired USAF pilot with a commercial, multi-engine transport rating and a Master of Engineering degree.
