Brad serves as Delta Air Lines Vice President of Flight Operations, where he is responsible for the teams who lead the Chief Pilot Offices, line operations, pilot training and flight standards for more than 17,000 Delta pilots and its global flying operations.

Prior to his current role, Brad served as the Managing Director of Flight Safety at Delta Air Lines, where his team was responsible for managing flight data analysis and modeling, operational safety reporting programs, and air safety investigations.

Prior to joining Delta Brad was the Vice President of JetBlue University, responsible for leading JetBlue Airway’s learning and culture programs. He played a critical role overseeing JetBlue’s education, training, and development across the entire organization.

Before JetBlue Brad spent 19 years at ExpressJet Airlines (prior Atlantic Southeast Airlines) including as Senior Vice President of Operations. While at ExpressJet, Brad also served as Vice President of Flight Operations, and the Director of Corporate Safety and Environment.

Brad has served in several other organizational, operational, training and safety leadership roles during his 27 years in the airline industry and has held 4 FAA 119 positions including system chief pilot, director of safety, director of operations and chief instructor. Brad has considerable experience in quality management, system thinking, just culture and human performance and has been invited to speak about operational safety, organizational learning, and culture across the globe. Brad graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and holds several certificates in business management from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

Brad also actively flies the Airbus A320 and A330 for Delta Air Lines.

He lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and son.
