Bryan is a graduate of the Air Force Academy and has a Masters in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle. During his service with the Air Force, he was a Flight Commander, Weapons Officer, Assistant Director of Operations, and Chief of the 2nd Bomb Wing Command Post at Barksdale Air Force Base. He finished his career as the Director of Academics and Instructor Pilot at the 11th Bomb Squadron at Barksdale. He retired from the military as a Lieutenant Colonel after 20 years of flying the B-52 bomber and flying combat sorties around the world.
Bryan is currently a First Officer on the Boeing 767-400 and has been on the Delta MEC Security Committee since 2019. He has been MEC Security Committee Chair since 2023, and last year, Bryan was awarded the coveted Aviation Security Award at ALPA’s Air Safety Forum. He was appointed as ALPA’s Aviation Security Chair in February 2026.
