Armen Adzhemyan is Senior Corporate Counsel on the Litigation Team of Delta’s Law Department, where he partners with internal stakeholders and outside counsel to represent Delta in litigation. Armen also supports Delta’s Corporate Safety, Security, and Compliance Department. He is involved in all major flight and ground safety investigations, supports Delta crews
in criminal cases against unruly passengers and advises Corporate Security on such matters as customer misconduct and regulatory compliance. Armen was honored by the Law Department’s SOAR Award for his work on the investigation of Flight 4819 in Toronto.

Prior to joining Delta, Armen served as a civil Assistant United States Attorney and civil Elder Justice Coordinator at the U.S.
Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georga. In that role, he worked with numerous federal and state law enforcement agencies to investigate allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse, particularly matters involving financial fraud, healthcare fraud, and scam robocalls targeting the elderly. The matters investigated and litigated by Armen resulted in nearly $1.5 billion in recovery for taxpayers. Before joining DOJ, Armen was a litigation associate at the Los Angeles office of Gibson Dunn, practicing in the Antitrust and Transnational Litigation practice groups. He litigated matters ranging from antitrust implications arising from the launch of Apple iBooks to a civil RICO trial in New York against an attorney who fabricated evidence and was caught on documentary film outtakes that he had commissioned.

Armen is a member of the Delta Law Department’s Internship, Office Technology, and Pro Bono Committees. Outside of Delta, Armen is on the board of the Georgia Innocence Project and the chair of the board’s Development Committee.

Armen graduated from UCLA, magna cum laude, with a degree in Psychology and History with a minor in Political Science. He received his law degree from UC Berkeley School of Law and is admitted to the bars in California and Georgia. Armen lives in Atlanta with his wife, two children, and rescue dog. He enjoys irreverent movie and television quotes.
