Matt McElfresh is Director of Economic Analysis at Boom Supersonic, where he helps translate airline operational and commercial needs into aircraft requirements for Overture. His work includes evaluating aircraft economics, airline operating requirements, route and market opportunities, and the operational and regulatory considerations associated with returning supersonic flight to commercial service. He also supports Boom’s relationships with its airline customers.
Before joining Boom, Matt spent 15 years with US Airways and American Airlines in revenue management, network planning, and commercial strategy leadership roles. His work included modernizing forecasting and optimization systems, evaluating international network and partnership opportunities, and leading key revenue management integration efforts following the airlines’ merger.
Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and is pursuing an Executive MBA in Aviation at the University of Colorado Denver.
