Yoan Marier has extensive experience in federally regulated transportation and access to justice. Before joining the TSB, he served nearly four years at the Social Security Tribunal of Canada, where he conducted hundreds of hearings, managed a team of decision-makers, and improved access to justice by reducing delays and simplifying processes. From 2014 to 2016, he worked at Transport Canada on regulatory compliance for dangerous goods in various transportation sectors. Earlier in his career, he was a commercial airplane pilot, gaining insight into industry challenges. Additionally, he spent eight years at the Canada Border Services Agency, conducting in-depth searches and enforcing immigration law.
