Allen is the Director of Flight Training for Envoy Air with over 36 years of airline experience. He has served Envoy in a variety of leadership roles including Line Captain, Aircrew Program Designee, Initial Cadre Check Airman, Manager of Training Standards, Manager of Flight Standards, Chief Pilot, Director of Flight Training. He maintains line qualification on the Embraer 175 aircraft. Additionally, Allen holds a BS in Aerospace with an emphasis on Technology from Middle Tennessee State University.

Allen has served as the Director of Flight Training for more than 23 years. In that role he and his team have successfully transitioned Envoy from an operator of large turboprops aircraft into an operator of large reginal jet aircraft. In addition, he led Envoy from a traditional pilot training program under CFR 121 Subparts N and O, Appendix E and F to an Advanced Qualification Program which is been in Phase V, “Continuous Operations” for more than 6 years.
