Samantha Brown is a Captain at United Airlines, flying the Boeing 757 and 767. As a Human
Factors Subject Matter Expert for the Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA)
Human Factors and Training Group, she helps orchestrate critical projects that support the
safety and training needs of over 63,000 professional airline pilots in the U.S. and Canada.
In addition to this role, Samantha serves as the Vice Chair for the United ALPA MEC
Training Committee, where she plays a pivotal role in advancing pilot training initiatives.
Samantha holds a master’s in Human Factors from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
and is pursuing a Doctorate in Aviation and Space Education at Oklahoma State University
