Mr. Douglas Marchese is an Airbus A321 Captain for JetBlue Airways based in New York. He has worked in fatigue management for the past ten years and is the Chair of the Air Line Pilots Association, International Flight Time/Duty Time Committee. He works closely with US and Canadian carriers and regulators. He has participated in Working Groups with industry and the FAA, advocating for increasing safety in the realm of fatigue management as well as in areas of aircraft design and certification. He has a Bachelor's and Master's in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is working on his doctoral degree in Aviation and Space Education at Oklahoma State University.
