Randy, originally from Albany, NY, graduated from ERAU Daytona Beach in 2000 and began his career flying Part 135 cargo for AirNet Systems, progressing from single-pilot IFR in light twins to Learjet Captain. He joined Spirit Airlines in 2007 as a First Officer, upgrading to A320 Captain in 2012, and is based in FLL while residing in Pompano Beach, FL. He has been a simulator instructor for 14 years, a Line and Sim Check Airman for 11 years, and an APD for 7 years. Randy currently chairs the Spirit MEC Training Committee (since 2021) and the ALPA National Training Council (since 2024), following a year as Vice-Chairman.
